The fact of the matter is that Timber wolf organics is hands down the best line of dogs food on the market. It may be true that your dogs prefer the taste of other dog foods but that does not mean that they are any where near the quality of T.W.O dog food. If you want your dog to live a long, happy, healthy life than T.W.O is the only way to go unless you are feeding your Pits a balanced diet of real food. You pay more but you get more. Dianna Jessup the leading Pit Bull expert in our generation(in my opion) uses T.W.O. Maybe those of you who disagree with me should do some research and come back and offer evidence to prove me wrong. In addition maybe you folks should research the word organic with respect to our and our animals food source.

Diamonds is a good quality dog food, but not the best! I used to feed diamonds premium adult food to my bullies, but since have switched to Exceed. It can only be bought at Sam's Club. Lamb and Chicken is what's available, my dogs love both, but the chicken is 30% protein and 20% fat which is great for adding muscle and girth to you dogs!

I have a 14 and 1/2 yr old AB living off of Euk puppy formula his whole life. I have a 5 yr old CH show dog samething as well as 4 other just points away from CH, I take what my dogs eat very serious. Now my dogs eat deer meat, chicken, Vegies and alot of other lil secrets. All im saying is that ive been at it for awhile now and ive seen alot of foods and if you want the best for your dogs its just not in a bag, you need to buy fresh meats.
How much is a big bag of the wolf stuff?

I agree with you 100% Calhoun real food is the way to go if you want to feed your dogs the best food possible. I feed my dogs a rotation of Chicken,Turkey,Beef,Pork,Tuna,Raw Eggs for protein. I use a little animal fat, Avocados and Derma Caps Omega oils supplements for their healthy fats and I use Red,Gold and Sweet Potatoes along with Oatmeal,Brown and Wild Rice and the little known rare protein rich grain called Quinoa for their complex carbs. I also add a mix of about 12 different veggies. And on top of all that I supplement with a blend The Silver Lining and Nu-Vet Plus multi mineral and Vitamen. And Calhoun I also have a couple secret ingredients,Ha! 80% of my dogs diet is all real food and 20% timber Wolfe or By Nature Organic dog food. I also throw a little of Evo's Ancesteral Diet high protein formula dog food in the mix to raise the protein content. I dont feed my dogs Raw meet though. Its not that I am against it its just I m not sure if thats safe. Calhoun do you feed your dogs Raw meet? Oh by the way you can go Timberwolfeorganics.com to get prices.

yes i feed it about 90% raw. Cook it low heat for a few seconds. I try to give it after they eat for the night. Chicken in summer i give it frozen to them and again low heat for a few seconds...after meal. How many dogs do you have?

Keep one thing in mind!
What do dogs eat in a natural environment?
Simple. Dogs aren't vegetarians! While vegetables aren't bad for them, they will only merely "survive" eating hollistic and nutro style dogs foods!
Dogs are meat eaters! Their teeth prove it! Even years of being captive bred have not changed their teeth!
Their teeth are made for eating flesh! PERIOD!
Obviously therefore meats, chickens and such would be the best food for dogs, but not all of us can afford to feed our dogs a $50.00 - $80.00 a week diet per dog!
The solution? The higher the protein content of a dog food, the better! But protein isn't everything
Remember this. just because a dog food says it has 40% protein that DOES NOT mean that 40% of the content of that dog food is protein!
All that percentage simply means is that it contains 40% of the recommended daily allowance of protein for you dogs diet!
So, while a dog food may contain 40% protein it could still very well be 90% fillers & 10% meat products! It would just simply have to be a meat product high in protein!
Most people are going to feed their dogs two to three times a day (after all we get hungry that often), therefore a protein content of 25% + is fine!
Therefore when choosing a good dog food, one would have to consider the other ingredients as well! many dog food companies will actually use fillers that can shorten the life expectancy of your dog by two to four years!
The dog food we like best is Diamond. It has a great balance of high protein & crude fat with a very low percentage of ash filler (which all dog food have some).
diamond also undergoes an extensive product ingredient test which is openly released to the public! You don't have to go searching for the results! Diamond proudly boasts that they regularly perform 151 individual product & ingredient tests!
As an extra Good filler we will sometimes ad white rice to our dogs dry dog food as a good carbohydrate increaser to add massive size potential for our dogs! it allows the dog food to go further and gives them a great carbohydrate source.
For added protein we give our dogs hard boiled eggs a few times a week. They go absolutely NUTS over them. They're healthy to eat and loaded with protein while more affordable that conventional dog treats!
These three foods combined have caused our dogs to have less bowel movements, which means less poop to clean from the yard because their bodies are digesting more of the food they eat. This means something is right somewhere!
Our dogs have also become virtually non shedding animals and very energetic!
Hope this information helps!

Diamond is good stuff no doubt about it. But Timber Wolfe organics is hands down the best dog food. Its rated number one and is a 5 star dog food. Organics means it is all natural no fillers and it has no other toxic ingriedents most dogs foods have.
