Protection Seminar www.elitek9.com/events/index.htm
May 5th & 6th, 2007
Decoy / Helper, Protection & Remote collar obedience seminar
Featuring Fred Hassen and the "No Limitations" remote training team in a hands-on police, and working dog seminar. These guys are considered among the leaders in remote collar training.
This seminar will focus on the following:
1- Teaching the helper all phases of decoy work using the bite sleeve and the full body bite suit.
2- Training and teaching your dog to be better at bite work and protection.
3- Basic and advanced obedience for working dogs using the Remote Collar.
All participants are encouraged to bring a dog, but it is not required. Be sure to bring your
training equipment such as: remote collar, bite sleeve, bite suit, agitation harness or collar,
long & short lines and anything else you think you might need. If you forget any piece of equipment
or you need to purchase something new, Elite K-9, Inc. has a fully stocked working dog equipment store
on site next to the training facility with great gear at great prices.
We will have four professional Decoy/Helpers to teach everyone how to work and catch dogs on a sleeve or suit.
Fred Hassen from Sit Means Sit, one of the worlds leading remote collar instructors, will be here with his staff
to teach basic and advanced obedience using the remote collar.
This seminar will be divided into 3 groups and each group will focus on one aspect of training.
-1- Decoy/Helper work - 2 - Bite work & Protection - 3 - Basic & Advanced obedience using the remote collar.
Students can pick one aspect of training and focus on it for both days or they can rotate in and out of all three phases of training over the weekend.
Each student can bring up to 2 dogs per person and the cost is $125.00 per day or $195.00 for both days.
This is going to be another great seminar and it will fill up fast, so early sign up is recommended.
Contact Luke Gibson at Elite K-9, Inc. for any further information.
