LOL
LOL ;D . . . What the F.U.C.K. is up with all the LOL's and smiley faces? Can’t you find a better way to articulate your ignorant opinions? Since you have no clue how to effectively debate with someone on an issue let me make this as simple as possible for you. First you state your argument, case or points. Then your opponent offers a counter argument that addresses the points you made and then adds more pertinent information to further prove their point. Then you address the points that person made and attempt to better prove your argument by first confronting the points they made and then by adding or clarifying information that further supports your point of view. You proceed with this formula until you prove that person wrong, until that person proves you wrong or until you both clarify your stance on the matter and then either agree to disagree or call a stalemate. So in the spirit of good debate let me break it down for ya and make it clearer. Of course I know going in to this that you will continue to do what it is that you do which is be ignorant.
I will take this point by point so all can see your lame tactics!
* You said these things in reference to what I had asked:
1. “You started this line”
2. “You asked about gameness and I answered”
3. “REMEMBER you opened up the topic about TRADITIONAL apbt...
again originally apbts WERE bred for COMBAT, with out GAMENESS it is considered curr and be culled
First, as I stated before I did not start this post. Second, I did not ask about gameness. Third I did not open the topic about traditional APBT’s. This is actually what I said:
1. Just asking out of curiosity why do you folks prefer the smaller game dogs? Have you ever seen 60 to 70 lbsders go @ it?
*Next you proceeded to hate on my dogs and the UKC and then you went on to say that you are not a hater. I never asked for your opinion of my dogs or on the UKC. You felt the need to HATE. These are your exact words:
1. ” OMG / GAFF?/ UKC?ouch / im outta here
2. “lastly, i am no HATER..”
*Then you stated:
1. then you spill your guts out and cry bec you love combat but your dogs are bred for showbiz LOL
This is actually what I said which included no complaining about the fact that I loved dog fighting but was upset that I had dogs from show dog lines.
1. Let me put it this way. Honestly I feel conflicted myself on the topic of dog fighting. I grew up around it in Virginia my home state. I love combat. I love war movies, boxing,UFC and so on. I’ve been practicing martial arts all my life. I’ve been in too many fights to count in my younger days. My point is this I am no stranger to the Art of War, Combat, Fighting or what ever else you want to call it. I love it all and it will be apart of my life forever. I admire the Old time Dog men of the past and APBT's because of there legacy. I love the athletic nature of the dog period. Everybody knows that APBT's are the best fighting dogs ever. What a lot of people forget is that they are also the best over all athletic breed as well. That’s why I love these dogs among other things. I will admit I also like to know that push comes to shove that my dogs can handle their business. However at the end of the day I just can’t see a good justification for fighting dogs. Violence is and will always be apart of life but dog fighting is an unnecessary form of violence.
*Now that I pointed out the points that you are wrong about I will get back to the heart of this debate.
I believe this the heart of your argument and the points you are trying to make.
1. Long story short is this you own Game bred match dogs. You fight dogs.
2. Your title is Red Neck Bulldog and you prefer the traditional Game Bred Match Dogs that are proven through performance (Fighting, Matching, Rolling, the Fast Track etc..).
3. You do not like Gaff, UKC or show dog bloodlines etc.
4. You do not even consider me a Dog Man because I do not own Game Bred Match dogs and because I do not fight dogs.
5. You are under the assumption that I only own and breed watered down APBT’s for show.
6. You feel that I can not speak on the matter of gameness because I do not fight dogs. You said I am all talk no walk. You stated that if I owned a game bred dog then I would know the difference.
7.You said this ” bec those who have owned performance dogs know that there is something about them that transcends mere aesthetics and it is precisely this enigmatic factor that keeps the dogman to his GAME-bred bulldogs”. You once again are assuming I am all about the aesthetics.
8. You think your dogs and Game Bred Match dogs are the better dogs. You said this: “try changing your stocks and maybe you could see the diff. on what we were telling you...(i know this is impossible but its just a DOGMAN's courtesy)”.
9. You wish to maintain the original purpose and legacy of the APBT as you said “I just keep the TRADITION alive”.
I think these are your main points and your argument as best as I can gather. If I am wrong then please correct me.
These are the points that I am making and the questions that I am asking you.
1. Does every pit pull in this country have to be a Game bred match dog to be a valid Pit Bull. Some of us do not fight dogs. I like to use the APBT's talents for other uses does that make me less of a dog man?
2. I admitted that I feel conflicted myself on the topic of dog fighting. I will admit I like to know that when push comes to shove that my dogs can handle their business. However at the end of the day I just can not see a good justification for fighting dogs. Violence is and will always be apart of life but dog pitting APBT’s is an unnecessary form of violence.
3. These dogs have by far more talents and value than just their ability to fight to the bitter end. Having said that I prefer to show my dogs and prove their performance abilities through agility and weight pull. As I mentioned before I also use my dogs for protection, weight pull, and agility and I have one of my dogs in training now to become a search and rescue and drug sniffing dog. So my dogs prove themselves in many ways other than show. APBT's have many talents and abilities and that is why I chose this breed. No other dogs can do what these dogs do
4. I believe you are the individual in the wrong here and most would agree. Fighting dogs is unethical. My dogs protect me and my house. They sleep in my bed. They lick my face when I am sad. They are happy to see me every single day I get home no matter what. These dogs are by far more honest and loyal than any human being I know. I would never put my dog’s life on the line for my own personal enjoyment or for profit or status.
5. Remember this; one dog always losses the fight. Most times both get hurt and some die.
6. Red Neck Bull dog is the fact that both dogs get injured and many times die ok with you? If so what is your justification for this?
7. I know that if it was not for the Dog men of the past I would not have the amazing dogs that I own today. I pay them there dues and respect. I love to learn about the history. I know some of the best that ever did it personally. In my opinion the time has come to move on and find new and better and more ethical purposes for this breed.
8. Why do you and a lot of the other Game bred fans have such a problem APBT’s that are not bred or used for fighting? Whose is worse A Dog Man who owns and breeds for Show and performance (agility, weight pull, drug sniffing, search and rescue etc…) or a Dog Man who fights his dogs? Why is utilizing the versatility of this breed such a bad thing. If this amazing dog is being used for other noble purposes what is your beef with that?
9. ADBA now allows people to register numerous breeds. If you do not believe me check out the main page of there website.
10. If in fact I use my dogs for reasons other than fighting then is it permissable for me to perfomance breed APBT's for other purposes. After all you are all about perfromance testing.
I hope I have covered all the main points and have made this clear. I also hope that you have the honesty and integrity to addresses these issues in a fair manner. Prove me wrong or lets agree to disagree.
On a side note Red Neck Bull Dog I would like to say that my UKC Game bred APBT is a legit match dog. He was bred for fighting and has been fought twice and won both to the death before he was a year and half old. I bought my dog from the wife of a man who got locked up for murder. I did not fight my dog to be clear he bred and fought him. The Sire and Dame are both undefeated and his father has 4 kills. If you are under the assumption that The Registry of Merit, SDR, ADBA are the only organizations that have fighting dogs than you are ignorant to the scene. Is UFC the only mixed martial arts organization? The under ground dog fighting scene is alive and well out here and sunny southern California and they prefer UKC dogs. My 70lbs Game Bred and tested APBT would F.U.C.K. up any dog on your yard in less than 15 min with two legs tied behind his back. If I thought that fighting dogs was ethical I would hop in my car and drive to where ever it is that your inbred red neck a.s.s. lives and prove it to you. We could let them Roll in the master bedroom of your single wide Trailer.
